From our very own state of the art dry aged chamber, aged on the bone for minimum 28 days to achieve the maximum flavour! Approximate weight 1.2kg.

Cooking instructions: 

Oven Cook From Chilled - If freezing at home defrost thoroughly before cooking.

Before cooking, preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6 and remove all packaging. Place in a roasting tin, and roast in the oven for 30 minutes, then turn the heat down to 180°C/160°C fan/gas 4 and cook for 10-15 minutes per 450g depending on how you like your meat (10 minutes per 450g will give you rare meat and 15 minutes will give you meat that is cooked through).

After cooking allow to rest for 30 minutes loosely covered with foil. Before serving, ensure product is piping hot throughout.

Sirloin joint

As always a very good joint shared with my family for our wedding anniversary. Perhaps not quite as tender as the last one but a good taste!

Thank you for the 2.5 frozen joint ie two together joints . I took it to my family in Macclesfield. When it had defrosted, they managed to cut some steaks off it. We enjoyed the rest roasted on Monday. It was excellent- tender and had a good taste. My son says his steak which he had yesterday was very good too. Thank you. The delivery arrived on the day that I ordered it.

A nice joint of meat

Very nice joint.
I cooked it in a covered baking dish for 30' at 180 degrees with a coating of a chilli/garlic/ginger mix I had made myself. On top of a base of new potatoes and onions. Plus a few pieces of rhubarb I happened to have also.
Then 30' at 160 degrees with the lid removed.
Then 30' resting on top of the oven with the lid back in place again.
For me (I like rare meat) it was well cooked but not overcooked, and there was a nice sauce to go with the meat, potatoes and onions.
