From our very own state of the art dry aged chamber, aged on the bone for minimum 28 days to achieve the maximum flavour! Approximate weight 1.2kg.

Cooking instructions: 

Oven Cook From Chilled - If freezing at home defrost thoroughly before cooking.

Before cooking, preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6 and remove all packaging. Place in a roasting tin, and roast in the oven for 30 minutes, then turn the heat down to 180°C/160°C fan/gas 4 and cook for 10-15 minutes per 450g depending on how you like your meat (10 minutes per 450g will give you rare meat and 15 minutes will give you meat that is cooked through).

After cooking allow to rest for 30 minutes loosely covered with foil. Before serving, ensure product is piping hot throughout.

A nice joint of meat

Very nice joint.
I cooked it in a covered baking dish for 30' at 180 degrees with a coating of a chilli/garlic/ginger mix I had made myself. On top of a base of new potatoes and onions. Plus a few pieces of rhubarb I happened to have also.
Then 30' at 160 degrees with the lid removed.
Then 30' resting on top of the oven with the lid back in place again.
For me (I like rare meat) it was well cooked but not overcooked, and there was a nice sauce to go with the meat, potatoes and onions.

Fantastic Sirloin

This sirloin joint was really great. Delivery was on-time and straightforward, and the meat was just delicious. We cooked it rare, and the joint had a delicious melt-in-the-mouth texture, with a great flavour.

A welcome arrival

The order arrived on time. As yet we haven't eaten the contents but they are in
the freezer. If they are as good as the last order, especially the sirloin joint, then I look forward to enjoying them.
