Cooking Instructions:

Oven Cook From Chilled - If freezing at home defrost thoroughly before cooking.

Before cooking, preheat the oven to 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas Mark 4 and remove all packaging. Prick the skin of the Duck Leg before lightly seasoning with Salt and Pepper. Once seasoned place the Duck Leg onto a baking tray, skin side up and place on the middle shelf of the preheated oven. Cook for 90 minutes, once cooked rest for 5 minutes. Before serving ensure food is piping hot throughout. This is a guide only, all cooking appliances vary.

Excellent Quality

I always have brought back years supply of duck legs when holidaying in France. They are much larger than their English counterparts and are excellent value. However French fresh duck legs have been slowly disappearing over the year as supermarkets have honed in on pre-cooked confit of duck.
So to find a supplier in England which sells good quality large French duck legs is fantastic.
I always slow cook two duck legs in a slow cooker on medium heat until the flesh is tender but not dry (approx. 4hrs) Then season them and place then in a hot oven for a half hour to crisp the skin up. Delicious! 🍗🍗 Thank you Althams.
